The New B97.3 and Washington DECA have joined together to help high school students academically excel and prepare for life with a new program called
"Succeed in School!"
"Succeed in School," in partnership with Western Washington corporations and businesses, will help shape students' futures and encourage them to stay in school by demonstrating how continued education can prepare them for a successful future.
Through support, encouragement, and guidance, "Succeed in School" utilizes community resources to help impact students now and encourage them to graduate with a marketable skill set to begin a career or continue with higher education.
Throughout the 2007-2008 school year, The New B97.3 and Washington DECA will help students organize several "Succeed in School" Career Day, where participating sponsors can showcase future jobs and talk about the skill sets necessary to succeed in life.
BECU is proud to sponsor the Succeed in School program and starting January 1st will be accepting scholarship applications awarding at least 25, $2,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors and full-time undergraduate college students who are excelling through community service and academic achievement.
